How To Get Beautiful Nails

Nails are an important part of our body. They go through a lot of wear and tear and also do a lot of things for us. Healthy and pleasant nails add beauty to hands and feet and give them a neat look. Here are some tips to follow to get healthier and prettier nails.

Once a week, do your manicure to make your nails look shinier

Doing manicure doesn’t necessarily mean that you are supposed to go an expensive saloon for this purpose, because every week it is not affordable for everybody. You can also do an effective manicure at home; it is also affective and cheaper. In home you can do your manicure by dipping your hands in warm water containing a small amount of body wash or face was or shampoo for five to ten minutes. After that use tips of your fingers of your one hand to massage the other. Take some extra tooth brush and rub it on your nails to get rid of any dirt in them. After that wash thoroughly, dry your hands and apply moisturizer.

Different kinds of anemia and diabetes also cause damage to the nails. In addition to this if a person has calcium deficiency irregular white spots start appearing on the nails. Lack of proteins also causes dryness and brittleness because nails are themselves composed of keratin protein and if they didn’t get the required protein they start to break too easily. Darkening of nails also occur when there is an inadequate supply of vitamin B12. In order to get good nails you have to include right type of food in your meals. Eating yogurt, meat, milk, fish, eggs, spinach, almonds and whole grains provides you with required nutrients. Drinking a lot of water also helps. A regular healthy diet gives you healthy body, skin, hair and nails.

Massage your hands, cuticles and nails using a good quality moisturizer at least twice a day because dryness causes damage and brittleness of nails. Try to keep your nails and cuticles hydrated. For this purpose you can use moisturizers or oils like flax seed oil, Vitamin E, Almond oil, Coconut oil Jojoba oil and Olive oil. Wash your hands and apply some oil to the nails and cuticles and rub gently. Using these elements make your nails grow stronger and shinier.

Be kind to your nails and avoid using them as tools like for scratching things, opening cans or hammering. And also avoid biting your nails when you get nervous or tensed because there is no pint of eating your nails or cuticles when you are hungry, go grab some delicious meal. And also avoid all those activities which may cause damage to your nails like different games. Take care of your nails like you take care of your face.
